Why the sensor says it is offline
Sensors can go offline for various reasons:
- Internet issues
- Restarting after an update
- Technical problems
- The device has been turned off, for example if a resident has passed away.
Internet connection problems can also cause a device to lose signal periodically. If you notice that a sensor is offline for an extended period, it may be due to a more persistent issue. In such cases, please contact our support team so we can quickly address and resolve the problem to ensure that the sensor is functioning properly.
If the device has a persistent problem, we will mark it as a 'known issue' on the map, so you know we are working on it. This way, you can distinguish between a known issue and a new one that might require further investigation.
